On the Eve of the Lord’s Test

Is it at all possible that the Lord’s Test could be as exhilarating and exciting as the Trent Bridge one? Agar rewrote the history books, and we learnt the little known fact that when Bell scores a ton, England win.

The opening test was quite simply ‘o’ for awesome.

Sitting in the garden on Sunday morning as England fought and fought for that last wicket was why we do it. Yes it was a shame that the final decision had to come down to Technology rather than the drama of a cartwheeling stump, but it was apt, ironic and a case of circumstantially summative that it did.

Well done England. Can’t WAIT to be at Lords on Saturday.
